To establish an exemplary customs administration in international customs communities and to become the best one with creative, progressive and professional principles and approaches within EU and its own geographical borders.

To simplify customs procedures for international trafficking of goods and travelers and to accelerate Turkey’s full membership to EU in harmony with government policies by implementing the simplified customs procedures in effective control mechanisms.

·          EU RELATIONS: FULL MEMBERSHIP PROCESS AND SERVICES IN ACCORDANCE WITHIN EU STANDARDS

 

A Customs Administration which protects the EU’s external borders and becomes a part of EU customs administrations,

 

        -      to provide the highest contribution to conclusion of EU full membership negotations,         
          
-         to adapt fully to EU customs procedures (Pan-European Origin Cumulation, The Mediterranean-Pan_European Origin Cumulation,  Free Trade Agreements, Administrative Assistance Agreements, Transit Regime, TARIC, Single Administrative Document)
     
-         to implement effectively EU foreign trade regime, including restrictions and control regimes at the very east borders of EU
     
-         to be a party to all agreements signed by EU aiming at rendering efficient customs services for administrative cooperation and assistance between customs administrations.
