BILGE (Computerized Customs Activities)

BİLGE (Computerized Customs Activities) is a software program developed to carry out all real-time customs formalities of goods to/ from customs territory in a computerized media.

Traders will be able to submit their declarations from kiosks in customs offices as well as from their own offices by “EDI” (Electronic Data Interchange) or on Internet to BİLGE system.

The system essentially consists of the following sub-modules:

Summary Declaration Module (including Warehouse Management)
Detailed Declaration Module (Declarations for Entry-Exit and Transit and Warehouse, Follow and Completion formalities related with for the Procedures with Economic Impact)
Accounting Module (Procedures for Collection and Payment, Receipts for Cashier and Stocks and Shares, Payrolls for Collection, and Cash Procedures)
Tariff (Duty and Fund Rates for Import Regime, Notifications of Import and Export, Free Trade Agreements, Notifications of Standardization, National and International Exemption Systems and Agreements)
Reference Tables (Codes of Country and Foreign Currency, Customs Codes, Bank Codes, Document Codes, Measurement Units, etc)
Follow up of Licenses and Quotas
Risk Analysis and Selection Criteria

Additionally, these modules, which form the kernel of software, have been enriched and made more effective by software programs for TIR Transit Control, Foreign Trade Statistics, Container Control, Passenger Procedures, Smuggling Data Bank, Data Warehouse.
