Turkish Customs Administration (TCA), who conducts its activities in contemporary norms, in relation to EU standards and with a customer focused service approach, provides service by ensuring smooth and simple application of customs cross border procedures in international trafficking of goods, passenger and vehicle with an effective and efficient control mechanisms in compliance with the existing government policies and by awareness of the ongoing world economy trends as well as towards all new technological challenges.
The TCA carries out procedures in a risk-based manner, with selective analysis-based methods, leading to simplified trade relations among real and legal persons and will improve fighting against customs fraud and organized crimes effectively, through specific policy defined as “facilitating legal trade and preventing illegal trade”.

TCA has to keep a dynamic structure to manage risks and to keep up with the adoption of challenging developments.
The TCA is on its way becoming a new generation Customs Administration in order to achieve defined institutional targets effectively and guarantees high quality standards concerning the facilitation of cross border trade.
